What was your first job as a journalist?
As a freelancer for the Halifax Town official website, writing the match previews for each and every game.
How is social media changing news?
Personally I find the saturation of all wannabe news sites lowering the quality of news. People aren't influenced by decent stories a lot now
What's your favorite social network?
At the moment, Instagram. And it has been for a while. It seemingly hasn't been spoilt...yet!

Why did you become a journalist?
Because of all the opportunities journalism hands to you, that you can't neccessarily do in every day life.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I started a 'fanzine' for the school football team. Unfortunately they stopped it after one issue as we'd gone full fanzine angle!
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
An awful 'PR pro' offered a review a hotel 300 miles away, but to go tomorrow, it'd be my loss if I didn't accept the wonderful offer.
What's your favorite drink?
Latte? Fanta Zero? San Miguel? Long Island Iced Tea? Obviously, this will depend on the mood and the occasion (occasionally!)
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
In front of a nice plate of food, a gig, a football pitch, the gym, or in bed :)
