The power sector contributes 42.2% CO2 emissions around the world in 2022.1 Issues of climate change mitigation and net-zero emissions have promoted a worldwide trend of green power2 development and power transmission. The incentive policy represented by feed-in tariff (FIT) that relies heavily on subsidies has been carried out for a long time (Sun and Nie, 2015). It imposes huge financial pressure on the Government (Song et al., 2021).

ABSTRACT HIV remains a significant public health concern for Black adults (BA) in the United States. Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is a highly effective prevention tool prescribed to protect the health of HIV-uninfected individuals. Yet, low rates of PrEP awareness and utilization persist among BA. Less is understood about the pathways that may promote PrEP uptake. The present study explored factors associated with PrEP awareness and use among BA.

Groundwater is the primary source for drinking water in south Texas, but over the years, extensive drafts from aquifers have depleted reserves and caused subsidence, making the Houston-Galveston region one of the largest subsidence areas in the United States. The consequences of subsidence in Texas are significant. It compromises the ability to store water in aquifers and jeopardizes the integrity of roads, bridges, and building foundations.
