All in vitro experiments were performed in triplicate to ensure reproducibility. No samples or animals were excluded from data analysis. Under a University of Pennsylvania Institutional Review Board-approved protocol, histologic specimens from 75 consecutive sarcoma patients were obtained from the Hospital University of Pennsylvania’s Biobank. Samples were prepared and immunostained for FAP using anti-FAP antibody (Abcam, ab53066) [20, 31].

Introduction Bladder cancer (BLCA) is the seventh most common male malignancy, and the tenth worldwide overall (1). Bladder cancer is classified according to the depth of invasion as either non-muscle invasive (NMIBC) or muscle invasive (MIBC) (2). The former accounts for approximately 70% of newly diagnosed bladder cancers. The current standard of care for treatment of NMIBC is transurethral resection, followed by intravesical therapy.
