Having already snaffled Billboard, Variety, Rolling Stone and The Hollywood Reporter as part of its corporate expansion, Penske Media Corporation (PMC) has now made its next acquisitive move. The company is buying Vox Media, the digital publisher whose brands include The Verge, SB Nation, Popsugar, Studios, Eater, The Dodo, Thrillist, Punch and Creative. The two companies aren’t strangers: in fact, PMC was already Vox Media’s biggest shareholder.
