What does it mean to be a journalist?
To be a fly on the wall, often. To leave quietly and note all that one saw and heard, diligently. Not to overshadow your sources.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Haven't worked enough to give notable advice, at least publicly! But trust your heart, believe people on the ground. Never stop pressing for better answers, ask better questions.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
Oh not any yet. I've been working for just over a year, and right now I'm pitching to places.
What's your favorite drink?
Tea
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Spending time with people close to me. Probably at a restaurant.
