With less than two weeks remaining for Ann Arbor’s mayoral race, voters may be interested in learning more about the candidates before making their choice. The election on August 4 will determine the democratic nominee. This year, Washtenaw County Commissioner Yousef Rabhi will run against incumbent mayor Christopher Taylor. Our team connected with Rabhi and Taylor to gain a deeper understanding of their backgrounds, perspectives, visions and concerns for the City of Ann Arbor.

Espy Café, a new addition to the Ann Arbor coffee market, opened its doors on January 10. Located on West Huron Street, the neighborhood café and bakery is nestled between downtown Ann Arbor and West Park. Some notable nearby landmarks include the Hands On Museum and Kerrytown, making it the perfect place to grab a bite to eat, followed by a stroll through Kerrytown’s charming shopping district. The story behind the worker-owned café Espy Café is located at West Huron Street, near Kerrytown.
