Born in Los Angeles, she returns to California after spending two years producing, reporting and anchoring for KXLY TV News in Spokane, Washington. While living in the Lilac City, she covered the University of Idaho murders case, catastrophic wildfires and stories of survival from families in local communities. With an emphasis of breaking news, Sydney was able to immerse herself into the community, highlighting stories that matter.

REEDLEY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Classes for flight science students at Reedley College were cancelled after the loss of an influential instructor. Danna Eady, her husband Craig, and their two youngest sons died after the plane Danna was piloting went down near the Sierra Sky Park runway in Fresno on Saturday. Principal Jeff Buckley says they had a small gathering Tuesday morning to share stories and support each other, while counselors would be available throughout the week.

The Fresno County Sheriff's Office confirmed 44-year-old Craig Eady died from his injuries on Monday. Support for their family is growing with a fundraiser for Craig and Danna Eady, as well as their two young sons who also died in the crash, raising thousands of dollars.
