Welcome back to Reading The Wheel of Time! This week is an exciting one: The Blight is showing up in new places, Galad runs into Perrin’s forces, Gawyn and Egwene deal with murder in the Tower, and Graendal gets a chance for glory. It’s chapters four and five of Towers of Midnight. Let’s go! The Maidens bring Perrin, along with some of the Wise Ones, Aes Sedai, Faile, Berelain, and a group of Two Rivers men, to see a meadow by the road that has been completely taken over by the Blight.
Reading The Wheel of Time: Egwene Confronts the Dragon Reborn in Towers of Midnight (Part 4) - Reactor
This week, Reading The Wheel of Time will be covering chapter three of Towers of Midnight, in which Egwene dreams literally, Siuan dreams figuratively, and the Amyrlin finally gets to talk to the Dragon Reborn. I had so many thoughts about this chapter that I didn’t even get to chapter four, we we will cover that next week. Chapter three opens with Egwene floating in the blackness between people’s dreams. She likes to come there to think, and to be reminded of what she is fighting for.
