Reading The Wheel of Time has returned! It’s chapter 14 of Towers of Midnight this week, in which Egwene catches up with the Wise Ones and finally gets Elayne and Nynaeve to visit her in Tel’aran’rhiod. Our beloved Amyrlin has a lot of things to tell everyone, and a lot of tasks to manage herself. Let’s recap them. In Tel’aran’rhiod, Egwene makes her way over rolling hills of grassland.

This week in Reading The Wheel of Time, we will be covering chapter 13 of Towers of Midnight, in which Rand finally returns to the Stone of Tear and everyone gets to see how much he’s changed. Also he reveals a shiny new ability! Min runs to the courtyard, outpaced by the Aiel and followed by the Aes Sedai. When she sees Rand, she feels the warmth of the bond so strongly that he almost seems to be too bright, making her want to shade her eyes.

This week in Reading The Wheel of Time, we are covering chapters 11 and 12 of Towers of Midnight. First, a little bit of time is spent catching up with Elayne’s political struggles and her receipt of a very interestingly written letter from one Matrim Cauthon. And then back to Tear where Min is enjoying being the only one who knows about Rand’s transformation. Well, ostensibly Alanna knows too. But she has disappeared.
