Abstract Introduction: Bone and soft tissue sarcomas are rare, heterogeneous malignancies with limited treatment options for advanced stages. Pembrolizumab, an anti-PD-1 immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI), is approved for tumors exhibiting high microsatellite instability (MSI-high) or high tumor mutation burden (TMB-high); however, its efficacy remains unclear. Methods: We reviewed records of 40 patients with advanced/recurrent sarcoma who underwent genomic profiling.

Because sarcomas originating in the adrenal gland are extremely rare and this case is exceptionally intriguing, we were interested in the recent publication by Xiaochuan et al.
