A Smaller Approach to Bunion Correction: What to Know About Minimally Invasive Surgery in Singapore
A bunion can start as a small bump near the big toe, but over time it may affect the way you walk, choose footwear, or stay active. If pain and discomfort continue despite conservative treatment, surgery may become an option. For people looking for a less invasive approach, minimally invasive bunion surgery Singapore has become an increasingly discussed treatment option.
Hydroxyl‐Rich Hyperbranched Polyglycerol Additive for Low‐Temperature Aqueous Zinc Batteries: Sustained and Efficient Dehydration and High‐Conductivity
1 Introduction Aqueous zinc-ion batteries (ZIBs) present a compelling prospect for the low-cost, upscaling of electrochemical energy storage, owing to the high volumetric capacity (5855 mAh∙cm−3) and cost-effectiveness (≈1.35 USD$/lb) of Zn foil anode, as well as the inherent safety and ionic conductivity (1 S∙cm−1) of the aqueous electrolytes.[1-13] However, their widespread application in low-temperature environments—such as high-latitude regions, polar areas, the deep sea, and outer...

Ag regulates the interfacial electric field of g-C3N4/FeVO4 S-scheme heterojunction for activated H2O2 degradation of organic pollutants in complex environments
In the contemporary era, when water resources are becoming increasingly scarce, the contamination of water bodies by antibiotics is becoming a significant threat to the world's environment [1], [2]. Due to the inability of antibiotics to be effectively metabolized within the human body and their direct excretion by the body [3], they can accumulate in significant quantities in the environment and persist for extended periods, which can lead to an imbalance in the ecosystem [4].

Cutting Through the AI Hype: Driving Real Business Impact
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is fundamentally reshaping the operational landscape of businesses, driving automation and enhancing efficiency across various industries, such as manufacturing, warehousing and retail. Amidst the “hype” over generative AI (GenAI), some businesses forget that AI has been around for a long time. AI has a long history stretching back to the 1950s, with significant milestones nearly every decade.
From vision to reality: Building the fully connected factory
- Advertisement - In the heart of the Industry 4.0 era, manufacturing is undergoing unprecedented growth. It is forecasted, according to a Mordor Intelligence study, that Asia-Pacific’s (APAC) connected manufacturing industry will be worth US$54 billion by 2025 and more than US$80 billion by 2029, underscoring the sector’s critical role in the region’s economic development. Manufacturing remains a cornerstone of APAC’s economy, contributing 23% to the region’s GDP.

Micromachines | Free Full-Text | Investigation of Material Removal Distributions and Surface Morphology Evolution in Non-Contact Ultrasonic Abrasive Machining (NUAM) of BK7 Optical Glasses
Abstract : A non-contact ultrasonic abrasive machining approach provides a potential solution to overcome the challenges of machining efficiency in the high-precision polishing of optical components. Accurately modeling the material removal distribution (removal function (RF)) and surface morphology is very important in establishing this new computer-controlled deterministic polishing technique.
Injecting Trust in the Pharmaceutical Supply Chain with Technology-led Transparency
With the strong uptake of COVID-19 vaccines this year, there is a need to ensure increased stability, visibility, and transparency across the supply chain to drive resilience in these times.
Improving food safety in SEA with tracking and tracing technologies
As COVID-19 continues to impact most parts of Asia Pacific, digitising the food system has never been more important. Food safety, hygiene and storage management had already been fundamental to the success of food supply chain systems prior to the pandemic. With the recent surge of COVID-19 cases in Southeast Asia, consumers have become even more concerned with the source, quality, and safety of their food, leading to an increased need for food safety and accountability.
The opposite effects of sodium and potassium cations on water dynamics
Water rotational dynamics in NaSCN and KSCN solutions at a series of concentrations are investigated using femtosecond infrared spectroscopy and theory. Femtosecond infrared measurements, consistent with previous NMR observations, detect that sodium slows down while potassium accelerates the water O-H bond rotation.
