Tania Hussain is currently an Executive Editor at Valnet Inc.’s Collider, a Montreal-based entertainment website, where she is responsible for a combination of creative, editorial, and managerial duties. In addition to leading content ideation and development, she works to generate innovative and compelling ideas for feature articles and reviews with her editorial team across movies and television.
Her past work includes seven years at PopCulture, a Paramount Global brand where she was the Lead News Editor and co-managed a team of 10-15 writers. She also had bylines at NBC’s Newsvine, the International Women's Media Foundation, Quietly, Womanista, and YourTango, and was a guest writer for the South Bend, Indiana-based Wedding Day Magazine. Tania has also freelanced articles in support of the UN Foundation and Water.org.
The Ball State graduate with a focus on communications and journalism with a minor in sociology is a CherryPicks critic, a Tomatometer-Approved critic on Rotten Tomatoes, a member of the Television Critics Association and the Critics Choice Association, as well as the Indianapolis-based, Society of Professional Journalists — one of the oldest organizations in the U.S. that promotes and represents journalists.
