Tania Ortiz is a journalist from Oceanside, California. She is a reporter for Lookout Santa Cruz, covering Santa Cruz’s south county, via the California Local News Fellowship program. Ortiz earned her master’s degree in journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
