For better or worse, Dominic Perrottet is now the premier of New South Wales. After digging in even a little bit, it’s hard to see the situation as anything but terrible.

Today we’re talking about the surprising history of the insult ‘snowflake’. Why? Because a lot of things don’t make sense anymore. It’s hard to keep up; so many things change all of the time – especially language.

For inmates at Helana Jones Centre, life is a little different to what you might expect. This suburban Brisbane correctional facility houses low-risk female prisoners. Here, the women are encouraged to work eight-hour days on community service projects, counselling and other programs that help with reintegration and rehabilitation.
