1 Introduction Low-grade appendiceal mucinous neoplasm (LAMN) is an uncommon epithelial tumor of the appendix that grows slowly and produces mucus; the incidence is 0.12 instances per million persons [1]. It can be difficult to diagnose because of the lack of typical symptoms. Acute appendicitis and right lower quadrant pain are typically described as difficult cases, and diagnoses are commonly made intraoperatively and histologically.
