ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Hot, humid, late-summer weather is in store as we move toward the holiday weekend. Aside from a spotty shower or thunderstorm in the early morning hours, expect abundant sunshine today. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s and low 90s this afternoon, with heat index values in the 90s throughout the afternoon and a light southwest breeze. After stray morning storms, expect abundant sunshine with high temperatures in the upper 80s.

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Summer warmth and humidity have really ramped up in recent days, and the balmy spell will likely linger well into September. In September, we typically experience a 50-50 split between summer and fall; this year is starting with a strong dose of mid-summer heat and mugginess. While the fall weather may eventually show up, we’re definitely not seeing any autumnal elements right now.
