I have a 2011 BMW X3 (xDrive 35i, F25 chassis/frame, N55 engine). A non-BMW service center replaced my leaking valve cover gasket, but that broke an old repair where the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor was attached to the manifold intake hose. So they also replaced the manifold intake hose. They said it was difficult for them to find the correct hose and eventually bought it from the dealer.

Joined 16 d ago · 3 Posts Discussion Starter • #1 • a moment ago I have E-Sys 3.27.1 installed and Launcher PRO 2.8.2. The software launches fine. My goal is to code a new fuel pump control unit (EKPS) for my 2011 BMW X3 (which is an F25 chassis). However, I can't get a successful connection with E-Sys despite trying several different Interface selections in E-Sys. Attached are screen shots of the failed connection. The ENET cable (with a USB/Ethernet adapter) seems fine.

Plans are coming together to finally see the return of McBarge or the Freedom 500. It was a floating McDonald’s during Expo 86 and has now achieved cult status. For 30 years it sat abandoned in Burrard inlet and became a place for graffiti artists, ghost hunters, and amateur and sometimes professional filmmakers. At the end of 2015 it was towed off with a banner reading “History in the Making”. Now something is finally going to happen.
