Flight Club Australia, owned and operated by NightOwl Entertainment, celebrated the opening of its newest social darts venue in Newtown, New South Wales, on June 12. Flight Club Newtown, the brand’s fifth location in the country, offers a social darts experience to guests within a semi-private oche within the multi-level venue styled like an 18th-century Victorian pub.

An entertainment centre planned for Maricopa, Arizona, US, is set to add a wide range of family-friendly amusement options to the Copper Sky Regional Park, including duckpin bowling and arcade games. Currently known as Maricopa Entertainment Center, the new indoor and outdoor concept will feature more than 25,000sq.ft of attractions, including a mixed-reality arena, climbing structures and social gaming options.

BattleKart, an experience that combines augmented reality and electric karting, opened its first Spanish destination in Madrid on June 8. The mixed-reality go-karting experience utilises projection mapping to create tracks for guests to navigate during gameplay. Currently, BattleKart Madrid offers two game modes, including the original BattleRace and BattleColour. In BattleRace, players can collect power-ups to gain extra speed or hinder their opponents with oil spills or simulated rockets.
