In their first game of a rehab assignment, Mets' shortstop Francisco Lindor and outfielder Tyrone Taylor both played a key role in the Rumble Ponies 5-2 win over the Fisher Cats on Friday night. Lindor would finish 1-4 at the dish while scoring a run, the Mets' shortstop is coming back from a calf strain and is batting a.226 with two home runs in 24 games this season. The Mets infielder spoke on being able to be back on the field in a game-like setting for the first time since April 22.

The Rumble Ponies rattled off seven runs in the first two innings to cruise to an 8-1 win over New Hampshire and snap a three game losing streak on Thursday night. Binghamton was led by Vincent Perozo who continues to contribute at the dish as the Rumble Ponies catcher finished 3-5 with 2 RBI. Jose Ramos led the team with a pair of runs and a home run. New Hampshire would struggle to plate runs throughout the contest, a big reason for that being Mets' #9 ranked prospect Jonathan Santucci.

The Southern Tier Athletic Conference has announced they will be changing the format to their championships which will begin this upcoming school year. According to an article provided by the conference, they will be making the switch to a Small School and Large School championship format that will begin in the 2026-27 school year. Division winners from the West and Metro will meet in the large school championship with no semifinal being played.
