Advanced Terahertz Gallium Nitride Metasensor for Enhanced Molecular Absorption Spectrum Analysis of Analytes Terahertz (THz) fingerprint metasensing is an effective method for identifying biological substances, offering advantages such as high efficiency and non-destructiveness. Currently, one important approach to achieving THz fingerprint spectrum sensing is the design of THz metasurface (MS) sensors with broad spectral coverage and multiple resonant peaks.

A channelized multi-frequency measurement system based on asymmetric double sideband detection is proposed. In this scheme, the sub-modulators of the dual-parallel Mach–Zehnder modulator are utilized for optical frequency comb (OFC) generation and under-test signal modulation. Subsequently, a sawtooth wave voltage is applied to the main modulator to introduce frequency shift to the modulated signals, breaking the symmetry between the RF signals and the OFC.

A novel structure of modified multi-trench fiber (MTF) with characteristics of bend-resistance and large mode-area is proposed. In this structure, each low refractive-index trench of traditional MTF is broken by two gaps up and down. Numerical investigations show that the mode field area of 840 μm 2 can be achieved with effective single-mode (SM) operation when the bending radius is 15 cm. Moreover, the high order mode (HOM) suppression of the proposed design is better than that of standard MTF.
