Tim Cooper’s Biography
Tim Cooper has written for most national newspapers and many magazines on subjects from politics to pop culture. His first published work was in his own punk fanzine, Cliché. Since then he has worked for national newspapers, magazines and websites on News, Features, Politics and Sport and Arts, especially Music and Film. His extensive portfolio of celebrity interviews spans The Observer, The Sunday Times, The Independent, The Guardian, The Times, The Evening Standard, The Mirror and more. He also writes about contemporary music online for The Quietus, Louder Than War, DIY and Unrecorded, and has co-directed a documentary film about St Kilda. He lives in the London Borough of Hackney, indulging his passions of writing, reading, cooking, cinema, music, football, cricket and vegetable gardening.
