News reporter on the Hackney Gazette in East London. At the time Hackney was officially the poorest borough in Britain, with 55 murders p.a.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To find the truth and tell it, and not to let anyone or anything stand in the way of that objective.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
A notebook and pen (or pencil) for writing notes in shorthand. OK, sometimes I use a digital recorder but mostly I take notes.
