A UPS worker nicknamed 'King' who served as the inside man for a £10 million cocaine smuggling ring has been jailed for 12 years. Zak Archbold, 30, used his role as a supervisor at the UPS depot in Stanford-le-Hope in Essex to help ensure that dozens of parcels containing class A drugs were able to enter the UK after being shipped from the Netherlands.

A man has been charged with the murder of a mother-of-seven who went missing from the West Midlands in 1998. Trevor Dunkley, 66, was charged over the death of Patricia Lashley, who was last seen at her flat in Hall Street, Dudley, in September 1998, West Midlands Police said on Thursday. He has been remanded into custody to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Monday, the force said.
