Luke Stephens, Carson Curd and Tristan Grgic all scored in double figures to lead the Henry County High School Patriots to a 63-56 victory in overtime over Dickson County on Feb. 20 in the semifinals of the District 14-4A Tournament being played at West Creek High School in Clarksville. The victory sent the Patriots (25-3) into the district tournament championship game where they were to meet Clarksville Northwest on Tuesday at West Creek.

Make it three straight District 14-4A Tournament titles for the Henry County High School girls’ basketball team. The Lady Patriots pulled away from Dickson County in the second half to record a 51-39 victory on Monday in the championship game of the district tournament played at West Creek High School in Clarksville. Henry County was the tournament’s No. 1 seed after posting a 7-1 district record in the regular season.

Three hard-fought District 14-4A victories last week helped the Henry County High School boys’ basketball team finish off the regular season with a 24-3 record. Henry County traveled to Clarksville to post a 55-51 victory over West Creek on Feb. 10 before returning to Gamlin Gymnasium on Feb. 12 to again beat West Creek 42-40 on a buzzer-beating basket by Ja’Kye Beard. On Feb. 14, the Patriots held on to top Kenwood 47-44.
