Trusting the magic of new beginnings can be intimidating, and even paralyzing if you’re resistant to change. Admittedly, I resist change, especially when it involves technology. It’s my weakest link, which is why I’ve partnered with some of the best people and organizations to help me launch, grow, and maintain my business. Recently, I was faced with the reality that our current website was on its last leg, and we needed to move to a new platform.

Hacking into a computer system is like breaking into a private residence — it is a violation of privacy. Hackers steal information, change information, and access confidential information. I’ve had both my business and personal debit card information stolen, once at a gas pump and also at the checkout line inside a convenience store.

Did you know that having the independence to make your own decisions is considered the key benefit of entrepreneurship? According to Business Insider, “No matter how risky, for all entrepreneurs, starting a business is the route to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” Entrepreneurship is not for everyone. It requires bold thinking, determination, and the resolve to succeed. Entrepreneurs use critical thinking skills daily to navigate uncertainty and turn challenges into opportunities.
