Port Arthur — In a significant development, the murder charge against 56-year-old Nerbert Frelow Jr. has been dismissed due to insufficient evidence. Frelow was accused of fatally shooting 33-year-old Donesha Buckner on Jan. 18 outside the Normandy Apartments in Port Arthur. However, the Jefferson County District Attorney's Office requested the dismissal, citing a lack of evidence to secure a conviction. Judge Raquel West signed the order to drop the charge on Monday.
