SHREVEPORT, La. - Shreveport Police are investigating two separate shootings that occurred early Sunday morning in the Cedar Grove neighborhood. The first shooting took place around 5:55 a.m. on West 79th Street near Dowdell Street. More than a dozen police units and several medical teams responded to the scene. A second shooting happened approximately a quarter-mile away on Harrison Street near Wallace Avenue.

Man shot and killed after late night shooting in Cedar Grove Original

SHREVEPORT, La. - One person has died after a shooting late Thursday night in Shreveport. Shreveport Police Department officers responded to the 200 block of West 70th Street, around 11 p.m., outside a liquor store in Cedar Grove. SPD found an adult man shot and killed inside his car. Police said the victim was shot multiple times. Police say no arrests have been made and no suspects were identified.
