The Philadelphia 76ers are currently 0-3 this preseason, losing both games in Abu Dhabi to the New York Knicks and, most recently, their matchup against the Orlando Magic. While this isn’t necessarily cause for concern, since the Sixers have been shorthanded all preseason, this has given the Sixers some time to explore their depth options on the team. Two-way forward Dominick Barlow has been impressive in both of his appearances.

The Sixers finished up their Abu Dhabi preseason series against the New York Knicks, falling to the Knicks with a final score of 112-104. While the Sixers put up much more of a fight in this game compared to their loss on October 2, they still were not able to overcome the Knicks without their stars, Joel Embiid and Paul George. The Sixers will now look forward to their next preseason game against the Orlando Magic on Friday, October 10, in Philadelphia.

Since 2010, the Philadelphia 76ers have made seven selections inside the draft lottery from 2010 to 2024. Two of these selections ended up winning Rookie of the Year, but neither had an illustrious career with the team. This past offseason, the Sixers added an eighth selection when they drafted former Baylor Bear VJ Edgecombe to the roster, a highly athletic guard with great defensive instincts and finishing ability.
