Tyler Dixon’s Biography

I am originally from Saskatchewan, but Calgary has been my home since late 2006. I am a teacher with the Calgary Board of Education, where I currently teach Grades 5-9 Physical and Outdoor Education. I am the volunteer Outdoor Editor with the Calgary Guardian, where I am tasked with finding and sharing outdoor-related stories that make Calgary and area an incredible place to live. I am also a brand ambassador with Alberta Parks, Crowfoot Media, Seekers Media, Nuun, and Airhead. When I'm not working, I love outdoor activities, such as hiking, mountain biking, SUPing, and snowboarding, team sports, travelling, photography, spending time with good friends, and being at home with my wife, our sons, and our German Shepherd, Rome.
