Craven County deputies investigate theft of Flock license plate reader camera in Havelock

The Craven County Sheriff's Office is investigating after one of the county's Flock Safety license plate reader cameras was stolen from an ABC store in Havelock. Deputies said the camera, located at the Craven County ABC store on Main Street, was taken shortly before 11:30 p.m. Sunday. Images show whoever stole the camera cut through the metal pole and wiring supporting the system, leaving the attached solar panel behind.
