The MDU electric rate increase is under review, raising questions about why it is seeking higher prices and how the change could impact monthly bills for North Dakota customers. “I think their rate increase is a little egregious. There’s no way that you have to have a 14.5% increase. There’s no way,” said JR Carter, an MDU customer from Mandan.

According to the Williston Police Department, on Saturday, officers responded to a report of a person who had multiple stab wounds. The person of interest then fled on foot. Officers then set up a search perimeter, and used drones with thermal imaging to find the man, hiding in a ditch alongside the road.
