Tyler Redmond

Tyler Redmond has pursued a career in sports broadcasting from an early age. A graduate of Hardaway High School and the International Baccalaureate program, he began his media journey as an intern with Davis Broadcasting, an ESPN Radio affiliate. He was also a nominee for the Ledger-Enquirer Page One Award for Journalism.

He continued his education at Columbus State University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications in 2022. While in college, Tyler joined WLTZ as a production assistant in 2017 and advanced to directing newscasts during his three years there. He also directed the early stages of The Late Kick with Josh Pate, now one of the nation’s most-watched college football shows.

Outside of television, Tyler created his own YouTube channel, Braves On Deck with Tyler Redmond, featuring interviews with current and former Atlanta Braves players. The channel has since expanded into a mix of interviews, podcasts, and MLB analysis. A lifelong Braves fan, Tyler has attended games since age six and closely followed the team’s 2021 championship run.

Tyler is excited to bring his passion for storytelling and sports to WRBL and to cover the teams and athletes of the Chattahoochee Valley.
