Tyler Scott’s Biography

A wordsmith and storyteller first and second, I've worked in commercial and public radio since I started college. As a producer at Michigan Public (NPR) since 2018, I've covered a wide range of issues making news in Michigan -- from closely following political campaigns, to stories on grassroots political culture, Michigan's economies, housing, and a few sports stories every now and then.

As on-air talent, I excel at re-writing scripts, ad libs, and energetic delivery that keeps the audience engaged while conveying the most important information, including a sense of why they should care.

As a radio producer, I love making sound-rich stories and promotional materials that convey a sense of place.
