An integrated safety framework for the diamond mines: a case study from Namibia
The Integrated Diamond Safety Maturity Framework is a novel, innovative approach to safety maturity that embraces four Cs, viz. Culture, Competence, Cultivate and Connectedness (4Cs) in a single framework, underpinned by corporate values. As a novel people engagement approach, this framework allows for considering the complexity found in the dynamic reciprocal relationships between these 4Cs and how these enable people to be the strongest link in safety.

A comparative study of microsurgery and gamma knife radiosurgery in vestibular schwannoma evaluating tumor control and functional outcome
Both Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) and microsurgical resection (SURGERY) are available as treatment options for sporadic vestibular schwannoma (VS). There are very few direct comparative studies comparing both treatment modalities in large cohorts allowing detailed subgroup analysis. This present study aimed to compare the nuances in treatment of VS by SURGERY and SRS in two highly specialized neurosurgical centers. This is a retrospective bi-centric cohort study.

Sampling the Faraday rotation sky of TNG50: imprint of the magnetized circumgalactic medium around Milky Way-like galaxies
Galaxies are surrounded by the circumgalactic medium (CGM) that evolves interactively with the interstellar medium (ISM) and the intergalactic medium (IGM) beyond the galactic halo. While most of the volume within the halo is filled with hot diffuse gas, observations report the detection of denser and cooler phase gas clouds around the Milky Way as well as nearby galaxies (e.g. Westmeier 2018; Lehner et al. 2020).
