What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Find a group of writers to discuss experiences and ideas. I've learned so much from meeting up IRL and virtually.
When's the best time to pitch you?
I'd prefer to see pitches early in the morning when I am fresh and checking email.
What's your favorite drink?
I don't drink coffee so I usually order hot cocoa.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
I run in the mornings with a group of neighbors. We call ourselves, Mile Crushing Mamas. We ran the Charlotte Marathon Relay in 2024.
