YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Mahoning County Commissioners said they're working on a plan to pull together a countywide response in response to Animal Charity of Ohio's funding shortfall and subsequent suspension of animal control services. Commissioner Geno DiFabio says the county is now taking action to help Animal Charity. They will meet on Tuesday to bring all county partners together. Leaders say the goal is to build a unified plan to keep humane services operating.
