Abstract The transcription factors nuclear factor of activated T cells (NFAT) and activator protein 1 (AP-1; Fos–Jun) cooperate to promote the effector functions of T cells, but NFAT in the absence of AP-1 imposes a negative feedback program of T cell hyporesponsiveness (exhaustion). Here, we show that basic leucine zipper ATF-like transcription factor (BATF) and interferon regulatory factor 4 (IRF4) cooperate to counter T cell exhaustion in mouse tumor models.

SRC asks students to stop violating public health guidelines in the centre

Dec. 1, 2020 · 2 min read UBC students have been sneaking into the Student Recreation Centre (SRC) to play sports in violation of SRC rules. After closing down for months due to the pandemic, the SRC opened again in mid-October for drop-in basketball, tennis, swimming and other sports. To follow the provincial health guidelines, UBC Recreation has specific measures in place to ensure the drop-in activities are safe for participants.
