Dataset to Deliverable D5.2 (D10) Stakeholder validated baselines
Executive summary This dataset contains the stakeholder-validated BAU baseline results developed within the BrightSpace project. The baseline preparation followed an iterative process involving harmonisation across modelling teams and feedback collected during stakeholder retreats, organised in Leuven in 2024 and 2025. The Excel file compiles the baseline projections from the BrightSpace modelling toolbox, joining the modelling systems AGMEMOD, CAPRI, GLOBIOM, IMAGE, and MAGNET.

1 Introduction The European Green Deal foresees achieving climate neutrality by 2050 and sets the objective via the European Climate Law of reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by at least 55% by 2030. GHGs include CO2 plus non-CO2 (N2O and CH4) emissions measured in CO2eq. In this context, the agricultural sector is covered by the EU's Effort Sharing Decision (ESD) and Effort Sharing Regulation (ESR) together with the sectors of transport, buildings and waste.
