Regulating the crystallization of thermally evaporated perovskites for efficient near-infrared light-emitting diodes
Abstract Thermal evaporation of perovskite films holds considerable promise for the scalable manufacturing and pixel patterning of perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs). However, the performance of evaporated PeLEDs remains inferior to their solution-processed counterparts due to the lack of effective strategies to regulate perovskite crystallization during vacuum deposition. Here we address this challenge and achieve precise control over crystallization pathways.
Histone H4K5 lactylation-driven feedback loop modulates glycerol-linked immunosuppressive activity of tumor-associated T regulatory cells
|
Abstract Tumor metastasis is the leading cause of death for more than 90% of cancer patients, with colorectal cancer (CRC) mainly spreading to the liver. The colon and liver possess distinct nutritional microenvironments, yet how these differences shape the tumor immune landscape remains unclear. Using single-cell analysis of autologous samples from CRC patients with liver metastases, we identified a distinct CD177+GK+ regulatory T (Treg) cell subset in metastatic lesions.

Remodeling of mitochondrial dynamics by metabolic pathways couples to oncogenic growth in GNAS (Gα s ) mutant pancreas cancer
Abstract INTRODUCTION RESULTS DISCUSSION MATERIALS AND METHODS Acknowledgments Supplementary Materials REFERENCES Information & Authors Metrics & Citations View Options References Figures Tables Media Share This article has 0 eLetter . Abstract Maintenance of fissed mitochondria is viewed as a defining feature of Kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene homolog (KRAS)-mutant cancers. However, regulation of this process by accompanying comutations or environmental factors is not clearly defined.
Pentose phosphate pathway-derived NADPH facilitates physiological hypertrophy and alleviates ischemia–reperfusion injury in the heart
Abstract Exercise promotes physiological cardiomyocyte growth and protects against ischaemia–reperfusion (IR) injury in the heart. The molecular mechanism by which exercise benefits cardiac metabolism and function remains largely unknown. Here, using a genetically encoded fluorescent sensor, we show that exercise increases cytosolic, but not mitochondrial, NADPH levels in cardiomyocytes. This effect is mediated by activation of the pentose phosphate pathway (PPP).
GSTM4 Suppresses Prostate Cancer Progression by Targeting TRIM27-mediated ACLY Ubiquitination and Lipid Metabolism
1 Introduction Prostate cancer (PCa) remains a significant global health concern, ranking as the second most frequently diagnosed cancer and the fifth leading cause of cancer-related deaths among men worldwide [1, 2]. In the United States, the incidence of PCa has increased by approximately 3% annually since 2014, making it the most commonly diagnosed cancer and the second leading cause of cancer death among American men [3].

Correction to: Nature Immunology https://doi.org/10.1038/s41590-022-01339-3, published online 21 October 2022. In the version of this article initially published, in Fig. 2, the representative flow cytometry panel in Fig. 2h and the GAPDH loading control in Fig. 2b were inadvertently duplicated. In addition, an incorrect total cell number on the y-axis of Fig. 2h was entered during figure assembly. In Fig. 3, the p-AKT panel in Fig. 3h was inadvertently duplicated from the p-p38 panel in Fig.
Dataset Distillation by Influence Matching
Published on Jul 18 · Submitted by Haoru Tan on Jul 24 · Hong Kong University Abstract We revisit dataset distillation from an outcome-centric perspective. Rather than aligning process surrogates (per-step gradients or training trajectories), Influence Matching (Inf-Match) aligns the final outcome of training: it learns a compact synthetic set whose effect on the converged parameters matches that of the full dataset.

Dye-sensitized cascaded energy transfer for amplified 1525 nm luminescence in highly doped lanthanide nanoparticles
Abstract Lanthanide-based probes for second near-infrared (NIR-II) luminescence imaging enable deep-tissue penetration with minimal autofluorescence. However, their broader application is hindered by intrinsic limitations such as low brightness and weak absorption. To address these, we developed a dye-sensitized construct, NaErF4@NaYF4:50%Yb@ICG.
A metabolic alarmin from keratinocytes potentiates systemic humoral immunity
|
Abstract How a local infection triggers systemic humoral immunity remains unclear. Here we identify farnesyl pyrophosphate (FPP), a mevalonate pathway metabolic intermediate1, as an endogenous alarmin that enhances IgG antibody responses through keratinocyte-derived IL-6 and CCL20. This signalling axis potentiates the differentiation of T follicular helper cells and migratory dendritic cells2,3.

Confining Quantum Dots Within Covalent Organic Framework Cages for Coupled CO2 Photoreduction and Value‐Added Chemical Synthesis
1 Introduction Simulating the photosynthesis process in natural chloroplasts to convert CO2 into fuel is an ideal green strategy to address global warming and energy supply issues.[1] In artificial systems, H2O acts as a weak electron donor with a high O2 evolution overpotential and competes with CO2 reduction half-reaction for photogenerated electrons, limiting the efficiency of photocatalytic CO2 conversion.[2] Hence, sacrificial reagents such as triethanolamine, phemethylol, and isopropyl...
