Wasim Sajjad is a multimedia journalist based in Peshawar city in northwestern Pakistan. He is in love with storytelling in different mediums like text, video and radio.
His work has appeared in national and international media outlets like Arab News, Radio Free Europe Radio Liberty (RFERL), Dawn Eos, The New on Sunday and some regional media outlets. He has been a multimedia editor at Tribal News Network, a regional digital platform. He has mentored around 14 female cub journalists in TNN and produced 34 digital stories with them over a period of 4 months.
Wasim is inclined towards Development Journalism, Solution Journalism and Constructive Journalism. His expertise are in the field of video and text stories, however, he has hands-on experience in radio too.
He has experience of more than 4 years with regional, national and international outlets, especially digital and aims to pursue journalism as a long life career.
I have an interest in Feature Reporting, Documentary Making and In-depth Investigative Journalism.
