Why did you become a journalist?

To write.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

wrote funny captions for the photographs

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

A love Letter to the [Golden] Slipper.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

study grammar.

When's the best time to pitch you?

9 to 5 Australian Eastern Time.

What's the worst pitch you ever got?

A golf ball in the back of the head (that's an attempt at humour)
