Wendy Pramik’s Biography
Wendy Pramik is a Columbus, Ohio-based writer and photographer whose work spans travel, food, health and visual storytelling. She contributes travel and food stories and original photography to Food & Wine and other national and regional publications, with a focus on destinations, culinary culture and the people and places that shape them.
Pramik is also a senior writer and staff photographer for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where she tells stories about patients, physicians, research and health care through words and images.
Her photography has earned national and international recognition, including Gold and Silver honors in the Society of American Travel Writers’ Bill Muster Photo Awards and honorable mentions in the Neutral Density Photography Awards and Monochrome Awards. A former Columbus Dispatch writer and an Ohio State University journalism graduate, Pramik brings a reporter’s approach to her travel work, combining on-the-ground reporting, interviews and original photography.
