Trey Anastasio brought his classic TAB trio to Charlottesville, Virginia to play the Sprint Pavilion last night. Joining Trey on stage was his usual lineup of Russ Lawton and Tony Markellis, but this show was marked as a special one and a Return of the Milkman as Ray Paczkowski was welcomed back to the stage as part of the group after suffering through surgery to remove a brain tumor.

Widespread Panic wrapped up their annual run at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Sunday, extending their record at the famous venue with their 54th sold out show. In keeping with tradition, the Sunday festivities started earlier, although this year’s edition was pushed back to a 5pm start time, a couple of hours later than the usual kickoff at 3pm.

As trusty as an old friend and as consistently quality as any rock band over the last twenty years, Dr. Dog returned to the DMV area for a special Friday night at the Wolf Trap, a bucolic, escapist retreat about 30 minutes from DC.
