Let me preface this with the fact that I am NOT a doctor or medical professional by any means. I’m just a homesteader who couldn’t find this information on the internet so I wanted to share my experience to possibly help the next person who goes searching. If you are bitten by a venomous snake, please proceed immediately to emergency care. Take a photo of the snake if possible for positive identification. Dealing with snakes is a common chore amongst homesteaders.

What was your first job as a journalist?

I got my start covering local punk shows for a zine, then expanded to live country music events and general daily news.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Absolutely! Of course I've been writing since I was a kid in the 80's so I used the stone and chisel available to me at the time.

I once got caught in tornado weather at a Rocklahoma festival
