A life-long resident of Montgomery, he graduated from Hillsdale College, magna cum laude, The University of Alabama School of Law, and in 1989 received an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University. My handwriting was so bad I learned to type when I was 12. I still have a manual Underwood in my office and also an IBM Selectric II.
