We are collecting trial data from a variety of sources for measuring health, indoor climate, economic, and behavioral outcomes (Table 2). Our primary outcome — heart rate — is collected monthly by trained field staff using an Omron portable automated sphygmomanometer. We present a complete list of secondary outcomes, including the associated instruments used for data collection in Table 2.

1. Introduction 1.1. Background Climate change has raised the global mean temperature by 1.21°C in 2021, compared to higher the baseline pre-industrial period of 1850 and 1900 (1). One major effect of climate change is an increase in extreme weather events including heat waves, heavy rainfall, which may lead to flooding and landslides, storms and droughts (2).
