Good Sunday morning! It’s a cold start to the day with temperatures 20 to 30 degrees colder than yesterday at this time. It’s feeling like -10 to -20 degrees this early morning across Most of the Midwest. Despite a cold morning, it’s actually a pretty nice Sunday forecast with mostly sunny skies and winds out of the west that aren’t breezy.

Overnight one to two inches of snow fell across central Minnesota, with an additional one to two inches accumulating this morning. That brings snowfall totals overall between 2″ to 4″ across the Winter Weather Advisory Area by this afternoon. While we have the chance for snowfall late morning and early afternoon, those snow showers will be light and even just flurries with little to no accumulation.

Good afternoon! Most of the metro saw 1 to 2 inches of snowfall earlier today. We keep a few light and scattered snow showers in place this afternoon and early evening, but the coverage of this is spotty with now additional significant accumulation. High temperatures today were right around midnight, and since then colder air continues to build in with below average temperatures tonight into tomorrow.
