Why did you become a journalist?

I worked in the accounting department at the World Poker Tour offices in Los Angeles and wanted to write about the interesting players.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Write about something that excites you, inspires passion and creativity.

What's your favorite drink?

Iced tea

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

On the sofa with my dogs

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

Writing about people and events in poker somehow translated into poker skills.
