A Sparse Learning Method with Regularization Parameter as a Self-Adaptation Strategy for Rolling Bearing Fault Diagnosis
1. Introduction Rotating machinery plays a significant role in modern industry. As key components of rotating machinery transmission mechanisms, rolling bearings generally work under harsh and complex conditions for a long time. Therefore, they are prone to generate faults, which can result in significant financial loss and even casualties. Hence, effective and timely fault diagnosis for rolling bearings is of great significance to guarantee the stable operation of rotating machinery.
Towards Child-Friendly Streetscape in Migrant Workers’ Communities in China: A Social-Ecological Design Framework
1. Introduction Urbanization has led to an increasing number of children residing in urban areas. A significant subset of this population is migrant children, who are influenced by immigration [1].
Security of Cyber-Physical Systems of Chemical Manufacturing Industries Based on Blockchain
1. Introduction Currently, the information security environment in the global chemical industry is becoming increasingly severe, and the impact of cyber attacks on chemical safety is further intensifying [1,2]. For example, in 2019, two American chemical companies, Hexion and Momentive, experienced ransomware attacks, resulting in the loss of a large amount of critical production and operational data, and causing huge economic losses to the companies.
Sustainability | Free Full-Text | Can Mergers and Acquisitions Promote Technological Innovation in the New Energy Industry? An Empirical Analysis Based on China’s Lithium Battery Industry
Abstract : The advancement of technological capabilities within lithium battery enterprises crucially facilitates the high-quality development of the new energy industry. This study aims to empirically investigate the impact of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) on the technological innovation capacities of these enterprises, with a specific focus on the lithium battery sector in China.

Rail Surface Defect Detection Based on Image Enhancement and Improved YOLOX
Abstract : During the long and high-intensity railway use, all kinds of defects emerge, which often produce light to moderate damage on the surface, which adversely affects the stable operation of trains and even endangers the safety of travel. Currently, models for detecting rail surface defects are ineffective, and self-collected rail surface images have poor illumination and insufficient defect data.
Study on Aerodynamic Drag Reduction at Tail of 400 km/h EMU with Air Suction-Blowing Combination
Abstract : In order to further reduce the aerodynamic drag of High-speed Electric Multiple Units (EMU), an active flow control drag reduction method combining air suction and blowing is proposed at the rear of the EMU train. A numerical calculation method based on realizable k-ε is used to investigate the aerodynamic drag characteristics of a three-car EMU with a speed of 400 km/h.

Study on an Airport Gate Reassignment Method and Its Application
Bad weather, mechanical failures, air control, and crew members of the discomfort health are very likely to cause flight delays. If these events occur, decision-makers of airport operation must rediscover the flight schedules through reassigning gates to these flights, delaying flights, and canceling flights. Therefore, it is important to study the recovery strategy with the feasibility and the least cost for delayed flights and to improve the airport operation efficiency.
