Look at Me in VR Live Streaming: How Streamer Gaze Drives Purchase Intention Through Feeling Attended to and Social Presence
As VR live streaming becomes an emerging form of immersive retailing, understanding how consumers respond to streamers’ social cues is increasingly important. Drawing on social presence theory, this research examines how streamer gaze in VR live streaming influences purchase intention and investigates the underlying mechanism and boundary condition.
Striking the Right Pitch: The Inverted U-Shaped Effect of AI Anchor Pitch Variability on Consumer Engagement
As artificial intelligence and digital human technologies become increasingly integrated into livestream commerce, AI anchors are becoming important marketing agents. Yet prior research has focused primarily on their visual characteristics, leaving dynamic vocal cues largely unexplored.
A city-scale dataset of public electric vehicle charging transactions and infrastructure
Abstract With the rapid adoption of electric vehicles in megacities, the operation of public charging infrastructure has generated a large volume of real-world transaction data. These data are essential for characterizing urban-scale charging demand, facility utilization patterns, and operational mechanisms. However, most publicly available electric vehicle charging datasets are constrained by limited spatial coverage, small sample sizes, or coarse data granularity.
Beyond Words: How Streamers’ Dynamic Nonverbal Cues Increase Consumer Purchase Behavior Through Viewer Immersion
Live-streaming commerce has become a routine channel for merchants, and streamers’ nonverbal cues are closely associated with consumer responses and conversion. Drawing on real live-streaming settings, this study examined the relationship between streamers’ nonverbal cues and consumer purchase behavior, and further tested whether immersion, as reflected by average watch time, helped explain this relationship.
Deciphering the Halide Chemistry of Cl – and Br – in Enhancing Kinetics of Mg Plating/Stripping Click to copy article link Article link copied!
Abstract Click to copy section linkSection link copied! In promising rechargeable magnesium batteries (RMBs), while empirical Cl– addition to boron-based electrolytes optimizes Mg2+ solvation structure and desolvation process, the scarcity of comparative halide anion studies has hindered the development of a systematic halide chemistry theory for electrolyte design.
Seeing the Feel, Willing to Buy: How Visual-Tactile Cues Shape Consumer Purchase Intention in E-Commerce Platforms
With the rapid growth of e-commerce platforms, consumers increasingly make purchase decisions without direct physical interaction, particularly for tactile-dependent categories such as furniture and home décor. Drawing on embodied cognition, this study investigates how visual-based tactile cues influence consumers’ purchase intention on e-commerce platforms. Using experimental methods, two studies manipulate the level of visual-based tactile cues (high vs.

Versatile Solvent‐Free Synthesis of Composite Polymer Electrolytes for Thin High‐Performance Solid‐State Lithium Metal Batteries
1 Introduction The demand for high-energy-density batteries has increased significantly due to the expanding use of electric vehicles and renewable energy systems, both requiring efficient electrical energy storage systems.[1] Traditional lithium-ion batteries, though widely utilized, have limitations regarding safety, energy density, and cycle life due to potentially combustible liquid electrolytes and graphite anodes.[2] Here, solid-state lithium metal batteries may offer a promising...
Singular Value Decomposition of Dual Split Quaternion Matrix and Its Algorithm
In the theoretical study of dual split quaternions, the singular value decomposition of dual split quaternion matrix plays an important role. In this paper, we propose the dual number matrix representation of dual split quaternion and give the theory of singular value decomposition of the dual split quaternion matrix under -conjugate transpose.
Global inland-water oxygen cycle has changed in the Anthropocene
Abstract Inland waters are an important resource, a highly diverse habitat, and a key component of global biogeochemical cycles. Oxygen plays a major role in inland-water ecosystem functioning, but long-term changes in its cycling remain unknown.

Global inland-water nitrogen cycling has accelerated in the Anthropocene - Nature Water
Abstract Inland waters are an important component of the global nitrogen (N) cycle, functioning not only as land-to-sea transporters but also as active biogeochemical reactors. However, the latter role is not well understood regarding mechanisms, quantities or on a global scale. It remains unclear whether, when, how and why global inland-water biogeochemical N cycling has changed.
Impact of groundwater nitrogen legacy on water quality - Nature Sustainability
Abstract The loss of agricultural nitrogen (N) is a leading cause of global eutrophication and freshwater and coastal hypoxia. Despite regulatory efforts, such as the European Union’s Nitrogen Directive, high concentrations of N persist in freshwaters. Excessive N leaching and accumulation in groundwater has created a substantial N reservoir as groundwater travel times are orders-of-magnitude slower than those of surface waters.
