Effects of exergaming on balance and functional performance in older adults with chronic conditions living in the community: a systematic review and meta-analysis
Abstract Background: Older adults with chronic diseases often experience impaired balance and functional performance, increasing their risk of falls and disability. Exergaming has emerged as a promising intervention; however, its effectiveness in community-dwelling older adults with chronic conditions remains unclear. Objective: To systematically review and meta-analyze the effects of exergaming on balance and functional performance in community-dwelling older adults with chronic diseases.
Effects of exercise interventions on fall-related injuries in community-dwelling older adults: an updated systematic review and meta-analysis
Abstract Background: Exercise interventions are widely recommended for preventing falls in older adults in the community; however, existing evidence regarding their effectiveness in reducing fall-related injuries remains inconsistent. This updated systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to assess the impact of exercise interventions on fall-related injuries in older adults in the community.
Effects of aquatic exercise therapy on lung function in patients with asthma: a systematic review and meta-analysis
Abstract Background: Exercise is recommended as an adjunctive therapy for asthma, yet the effects of aquatic exercise on pulmonary function remain uncertain because findings from randomized controlled trials (RCTs) have been inconsistent. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to synthesize the current evidence regarding the effects of aquatic exercise on pulmonary function in patients with asthma. Methods: This systematic review was conducted in accordance with the PRISMA 2020 statement.
BST2 expression at astrocyte borders promotes microglial recruitment via the C3/C3aR signaling

Keywords astrocyte borders astrocyte-microglia interactions neuroinflammation ischemic stroke Introduction Astrocytes are abundant glial cells in the central nervous system (CNS) with diverse roles in health and disease.1 In the healthy adult CNS, astrocytes rarely divide, but in response to CNS injury, these cells exhibit molecular, structural, and functional changes known as astrocyte reactivity.2,3 This reactivity is triggered by significant tissue damage and leads to the formation of...

Comparison in trends and outcomes of multiple vs. single arterial coronary bypass graft surgery
Introduction Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) remains a cornerstone surgical approach for treating coronary artery disease (1). In recent years, with in-depth research into the long-term patency of grafts and their clinical benefits, multiple arterial grafting (MAG) strategies, such as the use of bilateral internal mammary arteries (BIMA) and radial arteries (RA), have emerged as a research focus in the field of coronary revascularization due to their potential long-term advantages (2, 3).

Systematic analysis of RNASET2 gene as a potential prognostic and immunological biomarker in clear cell renal cell carcinoma - BMC Cancer
RNA sequencing matrices of ccRCC tissues and normal kidney tissues were downloaded from the The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database (http://tcga-data.nci.nih.gov/tcga) and Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/gds/) to analyze the mRNA expression levels of RNASET2, and the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) database (https://www.proteinatlas.org/) was used to compare its protein expression in the tissues [15].
Algebraic-Connectivity-Based Multi-USV Distributed Formation Method via Adding a Reverse Edge
1. Introduction The collaborative control of multi-unmanned surface vehicle (USV) systems has been increasingly applied in military fields in recent years, such as coordinated escort, coordinated mine sweeping, and coordinated encirclement of enemy ships [1].

LIMPID: A Versatile Method for Visualization of Brain Vascular Networks
LIMPID: A Versatile Method for Visualization of Brain Vascular Networks Visualization of cerebrovascular networks is crucial for understanding the pathogenesis of many neurological diseases. Recently developed optical clearing techniques offer opportunities in deep tissue imaging, and have been successfully applied in many researches. The development of nanotechnology enables the labeling of brain vessels with functionalized micro/nanoparticles embedding with fluorescent dyes.
Preferable anti-photoaging effect of antioxidant collagen peptides from silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) skin to tea polyphenols and casein peptides - Food & Function (RSC Publishing)
Applying antioxidants to attenuate skin photoaging has received great attention. In this study, antioxidant collagen peptides (ACPs) with different activities were prepared using different proteases, called high (HCP), medium (MCP) and low antioxidant collagen peptides (LCP). The effects of ACPs, tea polyphenols (TP) and casein peptides (CP) on the photoaged skin of mice were evaluated and compared.
Effect of Collagen Hydrolysates from Silver Carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) Skin on UV-induced Photoaging Mice: Molecular Weight Affects Skin Repair - Food & Function (RSC Publishing)
The use of collagen hydrolysate (CH) as a nutraceutical agent in skin aging has gained increasing attention. Here, the effects of various doses and molecular weights of CH from silver carp skin on photoaging mice were investigated. The ingestion of CH at 50, 100 and 200 mg/kg body weight led to dose-dependent increases in the skin hydroxyproline, hyaluronic acid and moisture contents, but it had no significant effect on the mice body weight, spleen or thymus index.
